I didn't really know what to expect from this, being my first Chilean sparkling wine. But being Concha y Toro and their reliable Casillero del Diablo range, I suspected it would be at least acceptable. And it is acceptable, if unspectacular.
Apparently this is the first release of this wine from the producer, and is exclusive to Waitrose.
I'm struggling to recall any impressions this made on me (I'm writing this a few days after I tried it). If I wanted a sparkling wine for £10 or less, I'd rather go for a Cremant de Bourgogne (Sparkling Burgundy), of which Waitrose has at least of couple of nice examples.
