The wine has a brick red colour that is characteristic of its age, and a fairly fruity but light nose and palate. It tastes like other low-end Spanish Tempranillos that I've tried - a bit rough around the edges but decent enough. That's not a bad thing - where else are you going to get a 6 year old red that tastes like this for £4? Have it with food (i.e. meat). Perfectly acceptable.
