Bouchard Ainé & Fils, White Burgundy 2008

I needed a Chardonnay for Spaghetti Carbonara so I just decided to try this, a generic white Burgundy that was 25% off at Waitrose.

A pretty decent wine, although I wasn't bowled over by its character. A bit of white stone fruit with good acidity, it did the trick with the spaghetti. It would make a good everyday food wine.
